FSD, also known as Försökets SkärgårdsDryck is made out of a semi-secret recipe and is generally descriped as "okay" or "quite okay". FSD is a tasteful and delicious special brewage of Försöket. Only two people knows the almost forgotten-recipe but I think it's written down on a note somewhere.
Originally made to conceal the taste of the drinking water (beeing stored in a 1960ies water tank gave it a particular taste of rubber) it is nowadays enjoyed in its full right as the one-and-only drink of true Chang Shì crewmen.
Being a special brewage with a special history, it is best and traditionally cooled by means of tieing it to a stern bollard just below its cap with a firm piece of rope. This proud tradition, often accompanied by the launching of FSD song stems mostly from the need to cool the otherwise hard-to-drink solution on a boat with a shorted refridgerator. In any case, this gives this fantastic brewage the ability to muli-function as a pit log and give an approximation of the speed if the ship trough water. Here is a short summary of how to tell speed with an FSD-filled bottle:
- Bottle not directly behind the ship - You are standing still.
- Cap dips downward - You are making almost no speed at all.
- Bottle is tumbleing around under water - You are making some speed.
- Bottle is covered in foam, only cap is visible - You are going at full speed.

The Bloated Tick[]
* 1 cup FSD * 2 tbsp. maple syrup * 1 lb. sugar * Juice of 1 salmon (boned) * 5 tsp. curry powder * 2 beets * Cilantro
Drink FSD. Combine and discard remaining ingredients.
Captn' Maxi's FSD Surprise[]
* 1 barrel FSD * 2 flasks FSD, warmed * 1 jigger FSD * 3 shots FSD * 1 tsp. vermouth * Cilantro
Combine all ingredients. Season with FSD to taste. If vermouth is not available, substitute with FSD.
Swamp Zombie[]
* 1 bucket mud * 1 jigger FSD * 2 tsp. iron filings * 1 bat * 2 egg whites * Dash of Mocha * 9 mg. penicillin * Dash of snot * Cilantro
Mix well. Serve over ice
The Bloody Stump[]
* 3 cups FSD * 2 tsp. sodium thiopental * 1 jigger lemon juice * 1 jigger rapeseed oil * 5 ml phenylalanine * 3 cups tomato sauce * Cilantro
Blend all ingredients in lead container. Serve warm, with the half of one raw potato as garnish.
